Stylish & prime location, the room provides a beautiful setting for any occasion whether it be a canapé function, private dining, or corporate conference.
Located on the hotel’s first floor, the space features its own private bar, built-in AV facilities, TV & direct access to the venue’s impressive balcony area, as well as lift access and impressive cocktail bar.

The Library.

Accessible via the Criterion’s elegant reception area, the Drawing Room is equipped with its own private bar, making it perfect for both seated and standing functions. Featuring both a projector and multiple LCD TVs (with USB and HDMI) this space is luxuriously suited to either corporate or private events. Capacity of up to 50 people seated or standing room for 80. The highlight of our beautiful heritage hotel. Alfresco dinning or canape space, with built in heaters, weatherproof blinds & access doors to SAMBAR, the Macalister Room & Bathrooms. Lift access to the first floor & ability to book adjoining spaces. Standing room for 150, seating for 100. (Dependent on layout)

The Macalister.

The Macalister Room is a large and elegant space that offers plenty of versatility to cater for any event.
Overlooking the Criterion’s surrounds from the first floor, the room also boasts balcony access, built-in AV facilities, private bar and lift access.
Capacity of up to 70 people seated or standing room for 100. (Dependent on layout)

The First Floor.

Perfect for larger events, this option sees SAMBAR and Macalister Room combined to create a beautifully open space for up to 200 guests. The space takes full advantage of both rooms’ features including private bar, built-in AV facilities, use of the hotel’s balcony and lift access. Capacity of up to 110 people seated or standing room for 200. (Dependent on layout)

Off Site Catering.

Have an event coming up? Then feel free to talk to us about off-site catering, we have the capability to cater for up to 400 people. We can provide everything from the food to the plates through to the waitstaff.
